Grazie, il piano originale era a dire il vero ricopiare a mano - e sempre a matita - la foto.

Probabilmente avrei anche potuto farcela, ma mi è mancato tempo e soprattutto voglia!

(in genere quando prendo le matite finisce sempre che disegno mostri bavosi)

I used the free trial version of AKVIS sketch plugIn for photoshop to create a first sketch level of the photo, then I copied the photo and used some filters and brush to have various effect.

Merging the sketch and the photo wasn't to difficult, but it took time, because I had 4 levels each with particular effect on it. I used the Mask Level tool with a lot of gradient.

The pencil are a simple scan of my faber-castel, with some shadows manipulation to respect the photo lightning.

The lighting is excellent and I especially like the pencils sitting on top of the page. :D But how did you merge the sketch and the photograph?
